We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Broadway Construction. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee inventory management and distribution processes while contributing to our commitment to excellence in service.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage the reception, handling, distribution, and storage of designated stock, product, and supplies that come in and out of the warehouse.
- Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules.
- Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound orders to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product.
- Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
- Take into account the full implications of stock turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space.
- Manage an annual budget or capital investment plan for warehousing functions across the organization.
- Enforce company policies/procedures regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and/or hazardous materials.
- Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
- Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take action.
- Investigate causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters; make adjustments where necessary.
- Ensure current SDS are included in all orders of supplies with chemicals or cleaning supplies when sending them out.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work yard, Snow Clearing in winter months, Lawn Care in summer months.
Requirements
- Must have class 5 drivers license with clear drivers abstract.
- Must be able to provide Clear Criminal Records Check.
- Must have CSA approved steel toe work shoes.
- 2-5 years of direct work experience in a warehouse position.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management.
- Direct knowledge of WHMIS and other safety systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Yardi is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation, with good writing skills.
- Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions.
- Solid project management skills are essential.

Working Conditions
- Some travel (company vehicle) may be required, within Winnipeg & Selkirk.
- Exposure to a noisy environment and outside weather conditions.
