An Update for Our Residents

Considering recent provincial requirements and ongoing stipulations regarding health and safety, we wanted to take the time to check in and let you know what we are continuing to do to keep our residents safe.

Earlier this year, our policies included encouraging frequent handwashing, increased sanitization of commonly touched surfaces, posting social distancing signage, and promoting good respiratory hygiene both in the workplace and at our properties. None of this has changed.

Since then, however, we have implemented several other requirements to reduce the spread and flatten the curve:

When the province went into Code Orange, we:

  • Implemented all public health order requirements within our office and at our buildings, which included strict safe work procedures, adding more sanitizing stations, creating new directional flows, made masks mandatory for entry, increased signage, and provided continuous updates to our residents.
  • Reduced visitor traffic at all offices, offering appointment-only options for the safety of our staff.
  • Distributed self-assessment forms to all staff and new residents; and
  • Implemented a 14-day quarantine for out of province residents.

When the province went into Code Red, we:

  • Continued to implement and enhance Code Orange measures.
  • Closed all common areas and amenities.
  • Limited all office traffic to include just our staff.
  • Sent individual updates to residents with the new guidelines regarding visitors.
  • Initiated no-contact move-ins, move-outs and showings.
  • Increased daily cleaning of all buildings.

We continue to monitor daily updates provided to us by the Province of Manitoba. The safety of our residents remains our top priority. If anyone has any questions or concerns about matters related to public health and the enforcement of rules and regulations, we request that you contact Health Links/Info Santé at 204-788-8200. As well, our residents are always welcome to contact us at by email at [email protected] or by phone at 204-956-2233. We want to thank you all for your patience and cooperation during this unprecedented time.
