Winnipeg: Part Time Leasing Agent (Term) - Fort Richmond

Winnipeg’s latest and greatest apartment property is currently looking to fill a Part-time Residential Leasing Agent – 6 Month Term position for the newest addition to our portfolio.

The Bolt, a brand new 181-unit multifamily residential building offers cleanly finished suites, modern day amenities, and location, location, location – The Bolt basically sells itself! We are looking for a motivated individual that is keen to take on the unique task of filling up this beautiful multiunit property. Do you have the spark? The Residential Leasing Agent will be responsible for assisting with the daily leasing activities including responding to leasing inquiries, maintaining a wait list, contributing to marketing efforts, conducting suite viewings, processing applications, conducting move ins, and maintaining strong future tenant and landlord relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to suite inquiries (phone, email, walk-ins, etc), schedule and conduct suite viewings and explain the application process.
  • Prepare and keep accurate records of all leased properties and occupancy records.
  • Coordinate information and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Communicate feedback, opportunities, and requirements of the site to management.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts such as social media posts, videos, and print ads.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated, professional, and flexible; able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy with excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, knowledge of social media, web/internet technologies and MS Office suite.
  • Experience with Yardi is an asset.
  • Excellent time management skills to simultaneously handle and prioritize multiple viewings, tasks, and requests.
  • Experience in Property Management preferred.

Position hours will vary and will be dependent on the needs of the building. Evening and weekend availability is a must and some weekday availability would be preferred, with the ability to work up to 30 hours a week. Opportunity for term extension and advancement available should qualifications be met.

Successful candidates must be quick learners and highly motivated self-starters. Able to effectively multi-task and be able to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and matters, deal intuitively with any situation and work under minimal supervision.
